1987
Founded as Specified Equipment Systems, Inc., SESCO began with portable equipment for roof installation and spot repairs. Its contractor-first perspective shaped the company from the start: solve real problems, work hard, and do what you say you will do.
1987-2000
SESCO began mining roof granules in 1990 as the product became an increasingly important part of commercial roof restoration. Rainbow and Buff led the line, building the foundation for a trusted granule business.
2000 - Today
SESCO began manufacturing roof repair products in 2008 and added Snow White granules in 2012 as demand grew for high-reflectivity roofing systems. In 2026, SESCO's name and legacy are continued with the addition of roof coatings and accessories backed by dependable service and long-standing contractor relationships.
